Step One – Create Carnelian Pendant
1. Add one 3x2mm Copper Rondelle, one 20mm Carnelian
Puff Round, one 10mm Copper Filigree Bead Cap
(large side first), and one 8mm Gold Crystal Round to a
copper headpin. Make a 90° bend in just above beads. Using round nose pliers
(or any pliers you have) hold the headpin near the angle and bend it around the
pliers to make a loop. Wrap down around headpin just below the loop creating
as many coils as you can. Trim any extra.
Step Two – Create Necklace
1. Open one side of the S Hook to allow the ring to come out of the hook.
2. Take one end of your Buddy Braids wire and thread 1 crimp tube approximately an inch from the end. Thread the ring you just removed from your S Hook clasp. Thread the end back through the crimp bead. Using a pair of pliers squeeze the crimp tube closed about a 1/8th of an inch away from the clasp. See illustration 1 on the next page. Trim the excess leaving about a quarter of an inch, you will thread the first bead over both ends.

4. Thread 1 crimp tube and the ring that is still in the S Hook clasp. Thread the wire back through the crimp bead after going through the loop on the toggle clasp. Thread the wire through several beads (see illustration 2). Using your pliers, squeeze the crimp tube about a 1/8th of an inch away from the clasp. Trim the excess wire as close to the bead as you can.

You’re done!! These directions make a necklace that is approximately 24 inches long. If you need to change the length just add or subtract beads. You can use this pattern with any color beads you wish!!
