Step One – Prepare Clasp
1. Insert one 2 inch headpin in the large hole of one side of the magnetic clasp.
2. With a pair of round nose pliers (or any you may have) make a 90° bend in the headpin just above the magnetic clasp.
3. Hold the headpin in the bend you just made and wrap the end of the headpin around the pliers creating a loop. (The magnetic clasp will try to stick to your pliers so don’t worry).
4. While holding the loop you just created take a regular pair of pliers and grab the end of the headpin. Wrap the headpin down as many times as you can.
5. Trim the excess headpin.
6. Repeat 1-5 for the other side of the clasp.
7. Your clasp will look like this:
Step 2 - Create Bracelet
1. Take one end of your Buddy Braids wire and thread 1 Silver-Plated (SP) Crimp Bead approximately an inch from the end. Thread one loop you just created on your magnetic clasp. Thread the end back through the crimp bead. Using crimping pliers (or any pliers you have) squeeze the crimp bead about a 1/8th of an inch any from the clasp. See illustration 1. Trim the excess leaving about a half an inch, you will thread the beads over both.
